Before placing an order you should read our Disclaimer page!

Digital Images and Slide Scans:

Digital Images, Slidescans and Scanned Photographawill be delivered, after payment is received, as digital files.

The section contains Digital Images (Ordernumber starting with DGI) , Scanned Slides (Ordernumber starting with SLS), Scanned Black &White Photographs (Ordernumber starting with BPH)  and Scanned Colour Photographs (Ordernumber starting with CPH)

The maximum width available for each individual file is also given.

Please keep in mind that Scanned Slides  (SLS), especially the older ones, compared to Digital Images, aren't  always the same quality as Digital Images (DGI) .

Simply because the technique used today wasn't available  at the times the originals were shot.

For Scanned Slides & Photographs 1500 pixels width is a very good format. Larger formats are often available but will decrease the quality accordingly.

                             Digital Images are provided with a 3000 pixes minimum width and a resolution of at least 5000 dpi. These files are often very large

 All image files are supplied  in ratio  3:2

 (length:height) (eg 3500 x 2000)

On all image page's the thumbnail of the image is presented; if you click on that

 a larger image will be displayed for preview,

The ordernumber, starting with the corresponding letters (BPH, CPH, DGI, SLS) is a unique number for that image to ensure no mistakes are made when ordering.

Following is  information such as registration, unit etc.

Also there is a box stating the maximum available size of the image file; but keep in mind that the price listed is for a 1500 pixels wide image!

 This is because not all camera's have the same resolution, and especially older digital camera's have a lower resolution than the latest models.

All other information known is provided in the EXIF File (Exposure Information File) of the digital file supplied.

In the last box  sometimes special information is provided.

 you order should contain the desired width of the file; if this is not provided a 1500x1000 pixel file will be delivered!

So if you want to order this file, 2000 pixels wide,  the order would be like this:

SLS-00001, 2000 px (meaning pixels) wide.

 The totalprice for the file will be then 4.00 euro.

If you want it in 3000 px wide, your order would be then:

SLS-00001, 3000 px  wide.

The totalprice for this file  will be then 6.00 euro.

Example Digital Image (SDGI)

PRICING OF THE FILES:

To prevent any mistakes we have added a box with the price of the digital file in the 1500 pixels size. Larger sizes are available and can be seen (as well as the price listing concerning that larger file) when opening the preview.

In the updates newly added images will be listed also, but keep in mind you should always see for details the images country pages.

example one (slide): thumbnail ORDERNUMBER REGISTRATION A/C TYPE UNIT REMARKS D-0080 4567 Tornado IDS AG-51 Isn't  it a nice slide? meaning 4567 is the registration of this aircraft, indicated in blue,   and the ordernumber is D-0080, indicated in black, indicating also that this slide is in pricecategory D ( = 1.50 euro) and the 0080 is the follow-up number. So if you want this slide you could mail us: Ordernumber      Quantity D-0080                  1 (one)   example two (slide): thumbnail ORDERNUMBER REGISTRATION A/C TYPE UNIT REMARKS HD-0032 98-0056 C-17A 62 AW Isn't  it a nice slide? meaning 98-0056 is the registration of this aircraft, indicated in blue,   and the ordernumber is HD-0032, indicated in black,  indicating also that this slide is in pricecategory H ( = 3.00 euro) and the 0032 is the follow-up number. So if you want this slide you could mail us: Ordernumber      Quantity HD-0032               1 (one)   There is no box anymore for the used slidefilms. The used slidefilms are Kodachrome-25 and -64 as well as Fuji Provia 100F. All other  filmtypes will be mentioned in the remarks box! Please note this: Nicpix Aviation Press cannot be held responsible for any delivery non arrived if the option sent by regular mail is chosen! If you want a refund or us to replace slides lost in the mail , you should choose to sent them by registered mail! After payment is recieved the slides will be shipped  to you.
